"A night of live electronic music, cocktails, visual art and excess to celebrate the closing of Mark Leckey's "The Universal Addressability of Dumb Things"

The event will be also broadcast via Tethervision.co.uk and extended into a virtual 2nd room for online clubbing by itsourplayground.com

Taking inspiration from Mark Leckey's Fiorucci Made Me Hardcore, the cavernous Space at Nottingham Contemporary will be transformed into a nightclub and live television broadcast inspired by dance music culture, trends, branding, digital aesthetics and notions of euphoria.
Featuring electronic music by Nottingham born Rokk (Body Talk), Bristol based club night DirtyTalk and Glasgow based outfit Lovers’ Rights, Cocktail will also feature broadcasting from Nottingham based Tethervision and artworks and performances by Romany Dear, Joey Holder, Candice Jacobs, Samuel Levack & Jennifer Lewandowski, Zephyr Liddell, Calvin Sangster & Tim Hattrick, Joey Villemont, Zoe Williams and Lucy Woodhouse.

Cocktail is a project by Zoe Williams & Lucie Akerman in collaboration with Candice Jacobs.
